Shree Shree Ma Anandamayee Kanyapeeth- Varanasi

Based on the ideal of ancient India's 'Guru Kula' tradition this purely residential educational institution for young brahmacharini girls, which was founded in September 1938 in accordance with Ma's direct Kheyal, imparts training in brahmacharyas in the formative period of their lives. The institution is duly affiliated to the Sampurnanda Sanskrit University, Varanasi for Shastri and Acharya examinations and is also recognized by the U.P. Sanskrit Education Board upto Madhyama ( equivalent to class XII). Apart from a high standard of general education, there are arrangements for training in music, household work, like arts and crafts , stitching, embroidery, cooking and knitting etc. Brahmachrini Gurupriya Didi was the founder and the main guiding spirit behind the development of the Institution.
